Jade Hamachai | Mutli-Disciplinary designer & Model
Born and raised on the Central Coast of California, I spent much of my time growing up riding horses, playing sports, and spending time outside with friends and family. In high school, I started my own business, Hamachai Harvest, where I harvested and sold drought-resistant plants and organic avocados grown on my family’s property. Whether it was clothing, jewelry, accessories, furniture, succulent arrangements or art, as a child, I was encouraged to embrace and explore my creative curiosity. My fascination with the world around me has never left, and I’ve continued to pursue my childhood passions in my education and career.
During my time in the Multi-Disciplinary Design program and David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah, I had the opportunity to participate in grounded research, observe and use new technologies, collaborate with my peers and experts in the field, and experience diverse ways of thinking and doing.
The standards I’ve been held to in craft, originality, and compassion have shaped me into who I am and what I do.
